I am so thrilled to team up with one of my favorite people – Amy from Raising Arrows! Last week, Amy told me of her wonderful idea for ‘Listening Pages.’ I immediately knew it was a project I would love to work on.
The concept of these Pages is to keep little ones engaged in the church service on Sunday mornings – from singing to the sermon to prayer.
I am hosting the pages for children who are not yet reading, utilizing pictures instead of words. You’ll also see a space on the side of the Page where your little one can practice writing the words if he chooses.
Amy is hosting the Listening Pages for children that read fluently. As you will see, her Pages offer words to listen for and a space to tally how often those words are heard throughout the service. There is also a nice space to write extra notes.
In our family, I feel it’s important that our kiddos listen to the sermon and pay attention during the service. These Listening Pages are a great way to help keep their minds focused.
We hope you enjoy them!
If your little ones are fluent readers, remember to stop by Amy’s and download your Listening Pages for Readers!

Hello I have a question if I have downloaded the non-reader listening pages would I be allowed to mass produce them for my church Sunday service or children’s church or do I need to buy or download the church version??
Erika Shupe
Thank you so much for posting these darling pages! =D We have 9 children and attend a family integrated church – I’m SO eager to use your sheets and the ones for readers, too! BRILLIANT!! *cheer!*
Shani
THANK YOU!!!! I just printed a bunch for Sunday.
Sherri
Oh these are just perfect! Thank you SO much!
I mentioned over on Amy’s site that I’m thinking I might laminate them & let the kiddos use a wet-erase marker on them so we can use them week after week… 😉
Mama
What a fabulous idea! Thanks for sharing it!

Oh wow! I am SO excited!!!! This is exactly what I needed!!!!! We are just getting started with having a family integrated approach to church and I have struggled with helping our 3 yr old to stay still in church. This looks perfect! Can’t wait to try it out on Sunday! Thank you SO much!
Mama
Yippee! I hope they’ll help 🙂
Polly
This is a fantastic idea. We just began attending a church that does not have much for children at this point, this will work great for my 5 and 6 year old. Thank you.

I’m looking forward to using these for my soon to be 4 yr. old! This was perfect timing for me to find this. Thank the Lord!

Thank you SO much for making these! I am going to try these out this week! My son just started having to sit through a church service, and we have been trying our best to keep him quiet. I have wondered if he was really absorbing anything in the service though.
Elaine Sluder
Thank you so much. These are terrific. I have been looking for something to help the children in our worship service listen more attentively. I think these will help tremendously. I am trying them tomorrow in our worship service.

These are GREAT! My girls are teenagers, but I am going to print these out for the preschoolers in our church. Thank you so much!
Mama
Print away! I hope they’ll be helpful!
Cheryl @Treasures from a Shoebox
LOVE this! I’ve asked Amy; now I’ll ask you: Would you mind if I included a copy of each of these in our church newsletter for parents to copy each week? We have more children than adults in our family-centered worship!
Mama
Oh no! Feel free to pass it along. I just ask that you don’t alter it in any way. Enjoy!

I absolutley love these! I can’t wait for my children to use them!
mamabeck
Thank you so much for these! This will help me put the “church bag” together for my little guy!
Susan
These are a great resource! Thank you for providing them! I’m wondering. . . is it possible for you to alter them slightly to provide a few versions that include no images of Jesus? I would love to use these pages, but we seek to avoid images of Jesus. I don’t know if this is something that could be done easily and I know you are a busy mom, so I don’t want to pressure!
Lauren Hill
Susan, I totally understand the desire not to have a picture of Jesus on these pages. I’m planning a small update to these Listening Pages in the next month. I’ll see what I can do. 🙂
Susan
Thanks, Lauren! I’ll look forward to seeing what you might do :-).
Julie Quinn
These are wonderful. Do you mind if we print them out as a resource/activity in our busy bags we supply for our church services? Or is it only for individual use? We won’t alter anything and leave your website/copyrite.
Lauren Hill
Julie, I’m happy for you to put them in your church’s Busy Bags! Yes, as long as the page is unaltered and the copyright and website is intact, you are free to use them.
Thank you for asking first. 🙂
Blessings,
Lauren
Becky
Thank you so much for these listening sheets for non-readers. What program did you use to create these sheets? I would love to make some additional ones with different words that we may hear during our sermon, in particular Old Testament words. Thanks again for such great idea!
Amber @ Joydare
Hello! I was so excited to see this I had been looking for something for my two and a half year old to do during church 🙂 But it seems that the download links are not there anymore. Is it something wrong on my end? or are they totally gone?
Blessings,
Amber
Lauren Hill
Amber, I’ll try to have them up by the end of the day, so make sure to check back by. So sorry for the trouble!
Anita
It’s not showing the link for the download anymore. I’m so sad about that. We used one a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful…is it just me?? I was able to get the Easter ones to print. We’re gonna start using those since we’re so close. Thank you so much for these!!
Lauren Hill
Anita, it’s not just you. I’ll try to have it fixed by this evening, so check back then! So sorry for the inconvenience! xo
Laramie Gildon
Thank you for making this available. We are looking towards moving to a family integrated service. My little ones are 3 & 4 with one on the way. We have our hands full. My wife plays on the music team and I’m our associate pastor and we could always do a better job in our discipline, but any tools to help assist us are always appreciated. I praise God for people who have gone before us and have taken some of the same bumps and have persevered. Thank you for this, I see this as a blessing for our congregation.
Lauren Hill
Hey Laramie! I am so glad these will be a blessing to you and your church members! It is plan to revise them in the coming months, so be on the lookout for those! 🙂
Many blessings,
Lauren
Mel
WE just printed these! We put your activity together with another mom’s pdf notes! Thanks so much! (Poshmom.me)

Oh yay! I’m glad they were a good fit for you! 🙂
