Are you studying the life of Saint Patrick with your children this year? If so, make sure you download these Saint Patrick Worksheets!
Saint Patrick was a missionary to the people of Ireland, leaving a rich legacy. It’s fascinating to learn about St. Patrick teaching the Trinity using a shamrock as an object lesson!
I’ve also included our favorite St. Patrick books to help you in creating your own Saint Patrick study.
Before you ask: No, our family is not Catholic, however, we are Christian. I have always been a fan of Tomie DePaola, and this book was first introduced to me when we used to use Tapestry of Grace. Tapestry of Grace has a rich reading list, and this was one of the many gems from that time.
Note: This post was originally written in 2013, and then updated in 2016. I’ve completed updated the packet again with brand new fresh worksheets and activities for March 2021!

Saint Patrick Worksheets and Writing Activity
This Saint Patrick packet was the first topical worksheet packet I created way back in 2013. It is now on its third revision! I eliminated a few pages from the original packet since they didn’t reflect the person of Saint Patrick, and were focused a bit on the holiday.
I gave a few of the worksheets an overhaul, and added a new writing activity. I hope your young ones enjoy learning about this wonderful missionary that spread the hope offered in Jesus Christ.
And YES, it’s still free after all of these years and re-writes! ❤
This set of Saint Patrick Worksheets contains the following:
→ Reading Comprehension page – Read the text about shamrocks and answer the questions
→ Fill in the Blank – Fill in the sentences with the correct word from the word bank
→ Writing Activity (4 pages) – Your student should write 1-4 sentences about each Saint Patrick related picture, using the words from the word bank as a guide if needed. Each of the writing pages are numbered in the top right corner should you want to staple these into a booklet.
7 total pages.
Note that these worksheets are for personal or classroom use.
Enjoy!
