If you are a regular reader here at Mama’s, you know that my girls love coloring pages! We studied the account of David and Goliath (in 1 Samuel) last year, but we’ve enjoyed reviewing with these David and Goliath Coloring Pages.
These coloring sheets offer a nice, large coloring page, along with a corresponding Bible Verse at the top of the page and some handwriting practice at the bottom of the page.
This post was originally published in September 2013. That was quite a while ago! It’s been newly updated and the printables have been given a face lift. Enjoy! 🙂
ETA March 2022: I completely overhauled this packet with new graphics, layout, and fonts. I hope your young ones enjoy this third revision!

David and Goliath Coloring Pages
This set of David and Goliath Coloring Pages are just right for your homeschool, Christian School class, or Sunday School at church.
Like my other Bible coloring pages, this set features a Bible verse at the top of each page that corresponds to the picture. Note that the Bible verses are recorded in the English Standard Version.
There is also a space to practice writing a word associated with the verse and picture.
ETA 2022: I will use these coloring pages with my current 5 year old who is doing Preschool work. I will spend a few days with me telling him the Bible account and we will read aloud from our children’s Bible. Then I would spend a couple of days with him telling me the Bible story.
Being able to narrate a story is a very helpful pre-writing skill!
✝ Take a look through all of the Christian worksheets and hands-on activities here at Mama’s Learning Corner! You’ll find Christian Easter worksheets for K and 1st Grade, Nativity worksheets, Old Testament Bible Task Cards, and plenty more!

Only Littles in Homeschool Bible Time
Do you have only Littles in your homeschool? I consider that to be 2nd or 3rd grade and younger. If so, take a look at this video of how Bible time worked in our homeschool when we had only Littles. I loved the only Littles stage. So fun. ❤
This is obviously an older video since I have a lot of Big Kids now!

Sara @ Happy Brown House
Lauren! I am LOVING these adorable coloring pages! The artwork is simple and oh so cute!
Lauren Hill
Thank you, Sara! I’m so happy you can use them! They’ve been some of my favorites to make.
Shauna Cutcliffe
Hi Lauren,
Do you have anymore pages? I love them for my Sunday school class… I have Moses, David, and Adam.
Thanks
Lauren Hill
As soon as I can find some more Bible-themed graphics, they’ll be up! My kiddos and I love these too. 🙂 I’m so glad you’re able to use them as well!
lin
Thank you! Im curious why you chose to put 6 stones instead of 5 that the Bible teaches 1 Sam. 17:40 Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag,
Troye
Thank you so much for these! I am teaching an English children’s Sunday school class to Korean children and we are in 1 Sam 16 this week-I will be able to use some of these pages for coloring and collage. I know they will love it!
Lauren Hill
YAY! So glad you can use them with your Sunday School class, Troye!
Blessings to you –
Amy
I don’t see this packet in your shop. Is it still available to purchase? I’d like to use it for my Sunday school class.
Lauren Hill
Hey Amy! I just made it available for classroom use. You can find it here: https://www.mamaslearningcorner.com/shop/david-and-goliath-coloring-pages/
Thank you for abiding by my copyright. I really appreciate that!
xo, Lauren
Gabrielle
Hey I was looking for the king David coloring sheet? Was it removed from this pack?
Lauren Hill
Hey Gabrielle! Sadly, yes the newest packet does not have a page for King David. I found some better clip art that tells the story of David and Goliath so I eliminated that page.
If you want the old packet with that page, I am happy to send it to you! Just email mama @ mamaslearningcorner . com and I’ll send it right over.
It’s on my to do list to create a coloring book with Bible verses just highlighting David’s life. I’m still on the search for good clip art to create that, however. Hopefully soon!
Thanks for asking!
