~cue music~ …these are a few of my favorite things…
We all have favorite things, don’t we?
I frequently am asked what my favorite printer is, or what my favorite types of pens or pencils are.
So get ready, because I’m sharing it ALL!
On this page, you’ll find all of my favorite homeschool supplies, my favorite cooking items, and all of the items I use to make my home life easier.
Grab a cup of coffee and sit down and browse! Then leave me a list of your favorite things in the comments. I’d love to read them!

Favorite Homeschool Supplies
I have yet to meet a homeschool mama that doesn’t love office supplies, and I am no different!
Here are my tried and true favorite homeschool supplies:
Ticonderoga Pencils – yes, I really do buy them in the 96-count box!
My neon pink clipboard – so I can easily find it on my desk!
My favorite Binding Machine! – It’s a bit bulky, but I absolutely adore my binding machine.
We create books for each of our subjects, write books as a family, bind our notebooking pages together, and more.
Write-On Post-It Tabs – I use these to create the divisions in my Tapestry of Grace notebook. The stick on and peel off easily, plus I can write on them.
Plastic Lid Pencil Box – I have a million of these, which hold our manipulatives, colored pencils, crayons, stamps, etc.
Label Maker – And I can’t have all of those plastic pencil boxes without my beautiful label maker to keep it all organized!
Laminator – And no homeschool room is complete without a laminator! I just adore this one.
Mama’s Favorite Daily Supplies
These are things I love – just for me!
My ESV Study Bible – I have this particular study version, but my cover is a brown and pink leather. I adore this Bible. The maps and study aids are nothing short of marvelous.
Amazon Prime – Oh be still my heart, I do love Amazon Prime. I order most of my homeschool books from Amazon, not to mention all of my favorite homeschool items (see the top section). And with Amazon Prime, they show up on my door step in 2 days. You can’t beat it!
Plus, my husband and I usually stream a TV show on Friday nights and eat ice cream. #heaven
Edy’s Yo-Yo Vanilla Ice Cream – see above!
Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook – I’ve been a Trim(mer) Healthy Mama since January 17, 2015, and couldn’t be happier with the result. I can finally be a normal weight and eat foods that fill me up. It’s such an answer to my prayer!
(And the Edy’s Ice Cream? No, it’s definitely not on the THM plan! But I eat it a couple of times a week, now that I’m mostly at my goal weight.)
Pureology Smoothing Serum – Because my hair likes to be frizzy in my old age
My Danskos – Love them! I have this specific style and have worn them out. They’re expensive, but will literally last for years.
Kirkland Coffee – My favorite for the moment.
Blue Contigo Cup – I love that I can put it in my purse and it never spills. Perfect.
Spiral Index Cards – I keep a running list of scripture on this spiral flip index card set. It will fit in my purse or Bible bag easily.
Favorite Kitchen Supplies
These are just a few of my favorite kitchen items. I’m in the kitchen a LOT, so I like having good tools that make my job easier.
Cookie Scoops – I have the medium and large version of these scoops. I use them to dish out pancakes, pour muffin batter in the pan, and to make cookies, of course.
Nordicware Non-Stick Big Sheet – I cook bacon with our Saturday Morning Breakfast each week, and 1 pound fits beautifully on this exact baking sheet. I have 2 of these, actually! I also use it for roasting a big pan of veggies, or broiling several mini-pizzas at the same time.
Electric Skillet – I big puffy heart my 16″ electric skillet. I use it to brown 5 pounds of ground beef at once, make my favorite THM meal (ground beef and cabbage), and cook scrambled eggs for a big crowd.
Electric Griddle – I have this exact model, except mine is older and is not submersible in water. (Boo – that’s a nice feature). I use it every Saturday morning when I cook a big, whopping batch of gluten free pancakes. I also use to “grill” hamburgers inside, but that’s a bit messy, I’ll admit. The good thing is I can cook them all at once. 😉
Ninja Blender Auto-IQ Complete Extraction – This blender is insane. Compared to my previous $14 blender, it’s a beast. My THM smoothies are ultra smooth and creamy. I often use the big canister for blending broccoli or cauliflower in soup and it’s super smooth. I can’t say enough good things about it!
