Mini coloring booklets: we love them!
Mini reading books, mini notepads, and especially mini coloring books are all favorites here at the Hill House!
I published a set of fruit coloring pages earlier this year, and this is the promised set of vegetable coloring pages.
When we get to our fruit and vegetable unit, these will be a perfect addition. They would also be a great fit if you’re doing a seed study or studying plants and flowers now that the weather is a bit warmer.
Update for 2022: We did complete that unit study (one of our favorites!) and you can find some ideas for your own study here Fruit and Vegetable Unit Study
This post was originally written in March 2014. It was updated in 2016 and again in 2022 with a fresh layout and fresh fonts. Please download the newest version to use with your young learners! I’ve left the original post mostly intact with new pictures.

Vegetable Coloring Pages
After you download this set of Vegetable Coloring Pages, cut them along the dotted line in the middle to create half-pages. I created the cover page to go on top, the vegetables to go in any order your child chooses, the ‘What vegetables are ____?’ pages to go next, and the Favorite Vegetable writing page to go last.
If you have introduced alphabetical order, your child can use that as a guide for ordering the pages if you wish. Before you arrange and staple, you could also group by beginning letter if your child isn’t read for alphabetical order yet.
Of course you put them in any order you and your child desire!
In this 17-page set of vegetable coloring pages, you’ll find the following words and pictures:
♦ ‘All About Vegetables’ cover page
♦ green beans, corn, broccoli
♦ asparagus, carrot, eggplant
♦ cauliflower, pepper, cucumber
♦ peas, tomato, sweet potato
♦ radish, celery, onion
♦ cabbage, kale, spinach, zucchini
♦ What vegetables are green?
♦ What vegetables are orange?
♦ “My favorite vegetable is _____.”

Are these editable? I would like to buy the classroom license, and then change the writing to Spanish. I teach small groups (3-4) of children Spanish at our local library.
Lauren Hill
Hi there!
No, they are not editable. I’m sorry! I have to abide by the terms of use of the clip artist that drew the pictures, and an editable document would go against those terms.
Thanks for asking!
