My daughters are always after me to make them more hidden picture pages or scissor skills worksheets. We call them “fun pages” at our house! So this week, I’ve been a very busy bee making my 2 youngest ones a packet of Christmas Fun Pages.
My 6 year old is especially excited to get her hands on these!
Mama, will you make me a big notebook of the fun pages?
Of course I did just that!
Christmas Fun Pages Packet
I am particularly excited about this packet of Christmas Fun Pages for my girls. I was able to find lots of magnificent clip art to create this set, and I’m just thrilled with the final result!
This packet is a fairly versatile set, in that it appeals to wide variety of age ranges. From Preschoolers to Second Graders, there’s a little something for every age in that range.
Because we can all use fresh ideas from time to time, here are several suggestions for ways you can use this packet with your own children at home or students in your classroom.
Ideas for using this Christmas Packet at home with your children:
→ Place the pages in page protectors and use a dry erase marker to solve the maze or dot-to-dot. Then your child can do them over and over!
→ Place all of the pages in a small 1/2” binder. After your child colors the cover page, slide it in the front. Keep a pencil pouch of dry erase markers (if using page protectors) or twistable crayons tucked inside. Now you have an instant activity to work on in the car, the doctor’s office, during independent/quiet time, or any time a quick activity is needed.
→ If you’d rather not use a binder and page protectors, just print and place in a folder that your child can easily access. They’ll have fun pages available all month long! I love to create books for my children using our binding machine.
Ideas for using this Christmas Packet in a classroom or co-op setting:
→ If you’re in a classroom setting, keep a stack of fun pages available in your centers. You can slide them in page protectors and place them in a notebook, or just keep them in a file folder for easy access. Make sure to include a few dry erase markers, small eraser, or colored pencils and crayons.
→ Have early finishers? This set is perfect for them!
→ Slide a few pages in your morning work routine.
→ If funding allows, print a packet for children to take home over the holidays.
Included in the Christmas Fun Pages Packet
This packet is packed with goodies! 61 pages of them, in fact. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll find:
— Cover page (if you choose to make this set into booklet)
— 21 pages of Christmas Tracing pictures; includes a border that children can color also
— 8 Christmas Dot-to-Dots
— 11 pages of Christmas Mazes; a few pictures are duplicated with easier mazes to solve
— 10 pages of Christmas Jigsaw Puzzles in color
— 10 pages of Christmas Jigsaw Puzzles in black and white; if your child is going to color these pages, make sure they do so before cutting out the pieces
Because I am so appreciative you’re a reader here at Mama’s, I’m leaving a 4-page freebie at the bottom of this post! You may use it for personal or classroom use.
Enjoy, my friends!
