I usually squeal with delight when I find that All About Learning releases a new product. If you’ve read here at Mama’s very long, you know that we’re big fans of All About Reading and All About Spelling.
Today, All About Reading has released a new free resource: ABC Snacks – Eating Your Way Through the Alphabet.
This new series features a different snack for each letter of the alphabet. Discuss phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and more with your little ones as they learn the letters of the alphabet by creating yummy snacks!
From the site:
There’s a tasty snack for every letter of the alphabet, all demonstrated by my five little helpers – Mabel, Alyssa, Molly, Ethan, and Logan. With these creative recipes, you can spend quality time with your preschooler, support pre-reading skills, and enjoy an alphabet full of yummy snacks.
All About Reading Level Pre-1
We’re using All About Reading Level Pre-1 with my little girls this year. I love that it is such a gentle, yet thorough program at introducing letters and their sounds.
It’s literally open-and-go for me, which is an enormous benefit. I spend a lot of time planning for my older two children, so I need something that is pretty simple to plan and implement.
You can read my full review of All About Learning Level Pre-1 if you’re not familiar with the program.
Other Resources to Practice ABCs
My little girls are also working their way through Color-by-Number ABCs this year.
Color-By-Number ABCs is a 50+ page set of color-by-number pages for preschoolers and Early Kindergartners.
I also have a Pre-K and Early Kindergarten Pinterest Board that has lots of great ideas for learning letters! Follow along with me!
