I love to cook and I love finding new-to-me recipes. Feeding my people well is very important to me, and I make it a daily priority.
Over the next while, I’ll share some of our favorite family recipes with you. I hope you won’t mind the occasional break from worksheets and printable activities or homeschool talk!
But I must preface this with noting that I am not a food blogger. I am not a person that creates marvelous recipes for all to ooh and aah over. I don’t have step-by-step pictures, and I don’t know how to stage food pictures.
I’m just a mama that enjoys feeding my people healthy-ish, tasty food that they enjoy, and I want to share that with you.
So keep your expectations low! Haha.
Today I’ll start off with one of my favorite lunch recipes: Homemade Tomato Soup.
Homemade Tomato Soup Recipe
I have an individual serving of this homemade tomato soup recipe and a family-size version listed in the .pdf version that you can download.
This is perfect with a grilled cheese sandwich or homemade cheese biscuits. I also sometimes eat mine with Wasa crackers spread with a Laughing Cow cheese wedge.
A few of my people don’t care for tomato soup, so I never make this as a meal for supper. I do occasionally cook it for the girls and myself for lunch, so I’ve listed the scale for 4 people in the recipe.
Enjoy!
You can download a printable pdf of this recipe at the bottom of this post.
