If you’re following along with my Learning to Simplify series, you know that I’ve been getting up earlier than usual over the past month. Actually, today marks my 4th week of getting up early, but who’s counting?!
Getting up early before the rest of the house has worked well for me in this seasons of life. Don’t get me wrong, it’s painful each and every day when that clock goes off! But for now, this extra time in the mornings is really adding up in helping me accomplish the items on my to-do list.

So I cannot tell you how thrilled I was when I saw Crystal Paine’s announcement that she is launching a new 14-day online course: Make Over Your Mornings.
Beyond thrilled, I tell you!
Because I’ve already seen so much fruit from getting up earlier, I’m eager to figure out how to maximize this time.
If I’m going to wake up earlier, then for crying out loud, I want it to count!
Make Over Your Mornings Online Course
This is an excerpt about the course:
This 14-day course is designed to help you revolutionize your productivity, streamline your routines, invest your time in things that truly matter, and find more joy and peace in the process.
If you’ve ever wished that you could figure out how to get more done, have more organization in your life, and find time to spend on things you love, the Make Over Your Mornings Course is for you.
It’s not about following a one-size-fits-all system (because every woman and family is different!), but about creating a morning that is in line with your life, your strengths, your family’s needs, and your unique situation.
In the past few years, I’ve made great steps in being more intentional: with my husband, with my children, and especially in my walk with the Lord.
Now, I am excited to have the tools to make my mornings productive and have joy in the process.
In my Learning to Simplify process, oh this is going to take me a LONG ways!

Hi, you stated that you have been waking up earlier for the last month. Just wondering what you accomplish in the morning? Sometimes I get up earlier but morning usually feels so unproductive because I just want to relax and drink my coffee. Thanks!
Lauren Hill
Honestly, just in the past few days have I woken up and not felt like a zombie. Maybe because the sun is coming up earlier? I’m not sure, but thankfully, my brain seems to wake up a bit better now.
And you are certainly not alone – I just want to sit and drink my coffee and wake up too. I have to fight that every step of the way!
My whole goal in waking up early in the morning was to read my Bible and spend time with God. I used to do that in the afternoons, but now my kiddos don’t really nap and I couldn’t fit it in any longer.
But because I’m getting up earlier, I can also add in a little of my WAHM tasks that need to be completed in the quiet.
And I am such an introvert. It does my soul good to be alone in the mornings because I know it will be the only time I’m alone all day. 🙂
