A few weeks ago, I shared that the bulk of our learning during the Christmas Season involved living books and reading about the birth of Jesus.
I was very blessed to realize early on in our homeschool life that we did not have to do traditional school, especially during the holidays.
Whew! What a relief!
With all of the busyness of the Christmas Season (church activities, Christmas parades, visits to relatives, etc), it can be impossible to fit school into our daily lives. Thankfully we homeschool, so we can adjust easily to the extra demands of the Season.
If you’re looking to take it a bit slower this week before Christmas, use a few (or all) of the resources I’ve listed.
But most of all: Refuse to let the busyness take your focus away from the most important Gift that was ever given to us.
Keep school simple so you can place Christ at the top of your priority list where He belongs.
Merry Christmas, My Friends!
