1st Grade Weekly Worksheet Packets are just right for your young learners that need focused practice on math, phonics, handwriting, and sight words.
These packets are not meant to replace curriculum, but to supplement the skills found in a traditional 1st Grade course of study. Certainly use them with your eager and curious Kindergarten children or use them with 2nd graders that need some more intense and fundamental phonics review and practice with math facts.
This packet is Week #4 in a series of 10 total weekly worksheet packets.
Each 1st Grade Weekly Packet consists of:
- 25 total pages – 5 worksheets for each day
- 5 days total for Monday through Friday
- 5 pages of math worksheets
- 5 pages of phonics practice worksheets
- 5 pages of focused handwriting practice for print writing – words include basic household nouns and countries around the world
- 5 pages of sight word practice taken from the First Grade Dolch sight word list
- 5 pages of color by code worksheets – varies between phonics and math practice

1st Grade Weekly Packet #4 addresses the following:
Math: Fractions – One-half and One-fourth, Addition Word Problems, Subtraction Match, Pictographs, Counting Numbers to 150
Phonics: Rhyming words, Bossy R: UR, Double Consonants – FF, LL, SS, ZZ, Short and Long Vowels, Y as Long Vowel E or I
Handwriting: Letters F, I, N, P, V
Sight words: ask, fly, know, stop, then
