This series of Christmas Sequencing Activities is a fun way to practice a variety of skills – writing, sequential order, transition words, and much more!
As your children journey through these familiar Christmas activities, they arrange the events based on time. Using transition words first, next, then, and last, young learners place the events in order.
Each packet contains 6 activities including:
- Reader – half-page booklet for students to read and color
- Posters – a full color and full page version of the Reader; use these as posters around the room or bind down the side for a Teacher Book
- Picture Cards – Place the picture cards in order and then use the correct transition word under each
- Tracing Sentences Worksheet – Identify each step of the activity, and then trace the sentence.
- Writing Worksheet – This is similar to the tracing sentences as noted above, yet students create their own sentences about each step
- Cut and Paste Worksheet – Cut out each picture and place in the correct order; fill in the blanks in each sentence with help from the word bank
