Mini booklets are such a fun and unique way to practice different skills – from phonics to math to coloring to letter recognition!
This Color and Write Letter Booklet focuses on practicing single letter beginning sounds.
Each mini page in this packet focuses on a specific letter, with space for your child to practice upper and lowercase letter formation.
This page is easily adaptable to left-handed children, with space to write either before or after the letter.
Also included on each page are two pictures that begin with the page’s focus letter. Encourage your child to practice saying the beginning sound of each picture aloud as they color the pictures.
Note that the vowels include a picture of both the short vowel sound and the long vowel sound.
Use these booklets only one page at the time if you’re working through a Letter of the Week curriculum.
You could also use them in your alphabet or literacy centers, as spiral practice, or as extra “fun” work.
Booklets easily staple down the gray edge to create a “book.”
