During our yearly Christmas School, I try to incorporate as many Christmas-themed topics as I can. And that includes copywork as well!
“Silent Night” is a staple in our house, and I’m sure it is in yours, too!
I can think of no better handwriting practice than that of the birth of our Savior!
Note that this packet was originally published in December 2014. I’ve completely updated the packet with a fresh new layout and fonts for the 2020 Christmas Season. Please download it and enjoy with your children! This is the original post.

Silent Night Copywork
This copywork includes the first stanza of “Silent Night.” You’ll find the copywork available in elementary lines for younger students and plain lines for older children.
I’ve also included a beautiful poster of the verse that you can use in your school room.
New for 2020: The poster is also now available in black and white! Just print whichever version is best for your needs.
If you create a copywork “book” by stapling the pages together, you could also use the poster as a cover page.
♥ Note that this packet is available for personal or classroom use.

We have many favorite Christmas Books, but this year’s favorite book about the birth of Jesus is Room for a Little One.
It is a gentle, lovely read for a multitude of ages!
