Hey there!
Welcome to Mama’s Learning Corner! I’m so glad you found my little corner of the internet.
I started Mama’s back in June 2011, when I couldn’t find just the right resources for my 1st grade son. I wanted worksheets and printables that we could work on together. They needed to be eye-catching, interesting (to him and to me!), and on topics we wanted to learn about together.
Here we are 9 years later and you can now find over 400+ free printable resources, along with several inexpensive printable packets as well.
Who This Site is For
While a large portion of my readers are teachers looking to enhance their classroom activities, I typically write for homeschool moms.
That’s largely because I am a homeschool mom and have no experience in the classroom. 🙂
Please know that regardless of how you educate your children, you are always welcome here!
Mama’s Learning Corner is for:
♥ Moms who are looking to supplement their child’s education, whether you homeschool or send your kiddos to a more traditional school setting.
♥ Moms who homeschool and are looking for encouragement in this unique life.
♥ Moms that need suggestions for teaching their children – resources, curriculum, supplemental ideas, and more.
♥ Moms that need book suggestions for themselves or their children – I have a lot of them!
♥ Moms that need a bit of hand-holding in those early years of home educating their children. (I needed quite a bit of hand-holding, but didn’t have good resources to turn to. I don’t want that to be the case for you!)
♥ Moms who want to work hard for their families and their children, and are looking for resources to help them do that.
Do any of those describe you? If so, this site is for you. Those things describe me, too, and we’ll be good buddies in no time.
“Mama, Who Are You?”
I’m so glad you asked!
When I am trying to feel my way around a new-to-me website, I always want to know about the author.
Who is she?
What is her family like?
What types of topics does she write about?
Is she similar to me?
You can find out all of that and lots more on my About Page.
Make Sure You Stick Around!
We are all busy moms with a lot on our plates, so I’m not offended in the least if you forget to stop by Mama’s regularly.
I send out an email newsletter once a week with all of the latest posts, and any other fabulous goodies I know you’d love.
On a very rare occasion, I send out 2 newsletters a week.
But never spam. I detest spammy emails.
You can click here to sign up for those weekly emails so you stay up to date!

Social Media
Ah, social media.
I have to be very careful with Social Media, since it can be an incredible time sucker for me. Plus Facebook and Instagram make me feel … discontent. (just being honest)
I deleted my Facebook account three years ago, and haven’t looked back. What freedom!
I published regularly on You Tube for a couple of years, so you’ll find a stash of homeschooling videos there. Sadly, I don’t have time to create videos in this season of life.
Here are some links to Pinterest and You Tube, and I’d love for you to follow me in there!
