What would you do if you had an extra $250 dollars to spend this Christmas?
Would you buy presents for a family who doesn’t have much this year?

Friends, this is my favorite giveaway of the year here at Mama’s Learning Corner. While there have been some phenomenal cash giveaways of which I’ve been excited to be a part, this one fills my heart with joy.

But the two biggies?

$250 is a lot of money. And my prayer is that this money will go to 1) a family who really needs a little financial relief this Season or 2) to a family who can bless another in need.

I would use half of the $250 toward Christmas gifts for my children…haven’t been able to save up this year due to difficult circumstances. The other half I would give away to Compassion…our kids could choose things from their giving catalog to give to.
I would buy a couple of extra gifts for the Angel tree (gifts for children of prisoners)
I would buy myself something for the first time in over 3 years, get my just over 2.5 year old daughter a good Xmas gift, and teach her about helping someone else by letting her pick a kid off of the tree and a gift for them.
I would be able to buy gifts for my family. As a SAHM of premature twins every little bit helps 🙂
Been a tight year with my husband and dad starting a telacom company, and me being pregnant with our 5th child due Christmas day so we could use the money for sure. The other thing I love to give towards is a Child sponsorship program called Hope Chest working in Ethiopia that I have been blogging about http://apronsandapples.blogspot.com/2012/11/show-your-gratitude-this-season-sponsor.html We support one child but would like to add more! We adopted while overseas doing mission work and since we are not adopting more (5 kids is a lot for us! 🙂 ) I have a heart to help with sponsorship programs where they care for orphans.
With $250 cash I would buy gifts for my husband, who drives 90 miles each way to work so that I can stay home with our children.
I would give it to my grandfather which is having a very hard time. My grandmother past away and he has been lost since.
If I won the $250, I would find a way to help a family in need this Christmas. We could also use it to buy goats, chickens, etc, for the World Vision or Compassion children.
Truthfully, I would use that money to buy my oldest some things he desperately needs. He’s had a tough first year living away from home, and could use new shoes, clothes and some help with his school books.
I would Praise the Lord for the Blessing and then I would have to send some for the Youth Group at Church for their Missionary Project and then I would purchase a few much needed items for the family.
I would take care of my kids and get things needed for new baby.
I would share it with some family members who are going through a rough time which would let them be able to provide Christmas for their family.
We’re still working hard to get out of debt and weren’t able to save up this year. The money would help us buy our two little girls their gifts and then we could have the girls pick for either Compassion or Angel Tree. Our oldest (almost 4) had so much fun packing our shoebox for Operation Christmas Child and I know she would love blessing another child or family. It would be a great way to show her what a blessing it is to give to someone else.
Would either pay some bills or buy something nice for my husband. 🙂

I would use the $250 to buy gifts for Christmas and give some of the money to our church.
We are tight financially this year because I left my job to homeschool our daughter. I would use some of the money for our Christmas and I would give the rest to others. We would probably give gifts to children whose parent is in prison.
I would use the money to buy Christmas for the kids. We are a little short this year, it sure would help.
We still need a few more gifts for our youngest, but I am not sure how we are going to get them together. I would also really like to buy my husband something for Christmas…we never have money to spend on each other, and it would be nice to surprise him. Thanks for the chance!

I would help a couple of single mom friends from church with Christmas for their kids if I won the money. It would make a difference for them, and it would be a blessing to our family of 8 as well.
We are actually really tight on money right now. The $250 would help us buy presents for family and some toys for my kids to donate to Toys for Tots.
I would love to win! I would use it to help pay the college bills for my husband. He works full -time with great work ethic and is now going to school full-time too! We need all the extra money we can to pay for books and classes! It is a big financial sacrifice now but we know it will pay off later!
I would buy pajamas & coats for my family.
I would use part of it to pay for my son’s homeschool curriculum next year, part to bless someone in need at my church, and part to splurge on a date night with my hubby!

I would be able to buy Christmas presents for my daughter. I am a single mom living with my parents and the measley child support I was receiving stopped about 5 months ago, because he’s not working. So this would definitely bless my family by being able to give my daughter a good Christmas without having to ask my dad for money for her Christmas presents.

We have had some unexpected financial hardships this year due to medical problems, so that money would be a blessing. It would enable us to to give our boys and a few kids from the Angel Tree a good Christmas as well as pay off some of our medical bills.
Wow, we would probably put it towards a working vehicle!
I would get my kids a few things and get more stockings from church that we are stuffing for the local elementary kids!
I would spend some of it on getting mommy a Christmas gift for once and I would let my daughter pick out gifts to give to needy children in our area.

It doesn’t sound at all glamourous, but I would use the $ to buy more wood to help us get through this cold Maine winter! 🙂
I would use the money to buy some goats and other necessities for underpriveledged people through Gospel for Asia.
I would use the money for my kiddos Christmas. We are moving to a new house hopefully soon and would love to bless my kids with new things for their rooms. We have been living with family for almost 1 year and they really miss their own rooms and space. Thank you for the opportunity 🙂
