The week between Christmas and New Year’s is always a huge planning week for me – planning our next semester of school, finding a few new meals to add to our dinner routine, re-assigning chores to the kids, and all of those other things that moms organize and do.
Also included in that list is planning for Mama’s Learning Corner.
I wrestle over what types of posts to share, how often I can realistically schedule posts (this is a one man show!), how to incorporate more of what all of you need and ask for, how to coordinate my blogging life with my mothering/homeschooling/homemaking life.
That’s just an itty bitty glimpse of what I ponder and think over.
So What’s New?
In the next few weeks and months, I’m hoping you won’t notice a thing and you’ll just think Mama’s is all the more fabulous. 😉
Here are just a few things I have planned for the coming year:
→ Since I have so many emails from parents who need book suggestions, I started the 365 Days of Children’s Books, where I’ll publish a favorite book each day during the 2016 year.
Yes, that includes weekends, too!
→ I have lots of recipes to share. I like to cook and I’m in my kitchen a lot. You’ll be seeing quite a few kitchen-related posts from me in the coming months.
We are (mostly) gluten free and my husband and I eat (mostly) the Trim Healthy Mama way (aff link), so I’m sure those two topics will come up a bit.
→ I like it when I have a TON of information at my fingertips and I can easily sort through what will work for us. So expect to see more Resource List posts to help you plan your homeschool days and homemaking life.
What’s NOT changing?
Please don’t worry – I still have my passion for creating wonderfully simple printables and worksheets for our children!
There are 400+ printables here at Mama’s, and more are added each week!
Make sure you’re a subscriber to my email list so you don’t miss a thing!
Is there anything else you’d like to see here at Mama’s? Do let me know!
